Mount Scrapapallooza - Denim HQ

Ok I've been quiet recently, for those of you new to the blog I live away from my whole family and this Summer I was so lucky to get a wopping 8 weeks of visitors, MIL, Mum and Little Sis and whilst I'm always keeping busy it's hard to tear myself away from them when I don't know when I'll next get to see them .

Anyway enough of the sentimental drivel, I'm still crafting away but I totally have craft ADD and have swept aside my plans to diminish my scrap mountain, cue Michele at michelemademe , her September month of Denim projects has lit a fire under my butt and got me to tackle one area, let's call it the Denim HQ of the scary scrap mountain that I've been so embarassed about. So, for the past, well since I last blogged I have cut (by hand) every darn scrap of Denim under this roof into a 1'' by 5'' strip for a project I am so excited to get underway, they were all ironed tonight and now I just need to get stitching, I'm really hoping that this looks as good in real life as it does in my scatterbrain I couldn't bear to have another WIP project evade me for another 6 months!

So no pics for you so far but check out Michele Pacey at Michelemademe and her Flickr group Drop Dead Denim Drop dead Denim to see what great projects people have come up with using Denim, totally inspiring me anyway.

Hi!! I'm sorry about your foot, but that's pretty sweet that you got so much time with your family. I live away from my family, too, so I know how hard it can be.
